Natasha Fenech is a distinguished executive leader who has served as the Group CEO and Managing Director of Avant Mutual since September 2020. Her appointment followed her successful tenure as CEO of Medical Indemnity and Deputy Group CEO, positions she assumed in February 2019.
With almost 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Natasha has established herself as a transformative leader with a proven track record of strategic growth and organizational excellence. Prior to Avant Mutual, she was the CEO of SuperConcepts, where she successfully transformed the business from a startup to market leader in self-managed superannuation administration and software services over a five-year period.
Natasha's executive career includes several senior leadership roles at Suncorp, most notably as Executive General Manager of Customer, Product and Pricing within Personal Insurance. In this capacity, she led portfolio management across multiple national insurance brands including AAMI, APIA, GIO, and Suncorp Insurance. Her extensive career spans prominent financial institutions including Citigroup, A.T. Kearney, Royal SunAlliance, Zurich, Legal & General, and SGIC, where she developed deep industry expertise and a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and services.
Natasha holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, complemented by a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Mathematical Science from the University of Adelaide. She is an Associate member of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
