Tim Plant
Tim Plant is an accomplished CEO, Executive, and Board Director with extensive international leadership experience across the insurance, reinsurance, and financial services sectors. Tim joined MDA National in November 2024, prior he held executive leader roles at Insurance Australia Group (IAG), Zurich Financial Services, icare and QBE Insurance. His leadership has spanned strategy, risk, commercial and technical insurance, and transformation, with a consistent focus on driving growth, innovation, and customer-centric outcomes.
Tim also brings deep Board experience, both as an Executive and Non-Executive Director and has worked across ASX-listed companies and APRA-regulated entities. Respected for his strategic insight, collaborative leadership, and strong stakeholder engagement, Tim is passionate about shaping the future of insurance and financial services in an increasingly complex and customer-driven environment.
