Jillian Chung is a Senior Client Underwriter at Swiss Re, with over a decade of experience in actuarial analysis and treaty underwriting across global markets. Since joining Swiss Re in 2012, she has progressed through a range of roles in both the United States and Australia, including Senior Actuary and Senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter.
Jillian underwrites medical malpractice treaties in the Australian market and is an active member of Swiss Re’s global medical malpractice expert network. She is passionate about understanding how liability risks evolve — particularly through the lens of emerging risks, social inflation, litigation trends, and systemic change — and is focused on translating these insights into forward-looking underwriting strategies that support sustainable outcomes.
