
Susan Biggar
Susan Biggar is the National Manager, Regulatory Experience and Engagement at Ahpra. Since 2017, she has led the organisation’s work to improve the experience of a complaint for practitioners and members of the public with the aim of making regulation more humane for everyone. She has worked in consumer health, including in policy development, building engagement frameworks, and training over 4000 health professionals in patient centred care. With degrees from Duke and Stanford universities (BA/MA), and a writing background, she has published widely in the Australian media and is a former Councillor for the City of Boroondara in Victoria. Susan has 30 years’ health system experience across 6 countries supporting two of her adult children who live with a serious chronic illness.
